Description
Ongoing projects require treatment to ensure that the project is running according to the established plan and the expected goals. The treatment carried out when the project is being implemented until the project is completed, which is called monitoring and evaluation. Monitoring is the systemic and routine collection of information form projects for several purpose likely: to learn form experiences to improve practices and activities in the future; to have internal and external accountability of the resources used and the results obtained; To take informed decisions on the future of the initiatice and to promote empowerment of beneficiaries of the initiative. Monitoring activities will result some information will be used at the evaluation stage. Evaluation is assessing, as systematically and objectively as possible, a project or programme. Evaluations appraise data and inform strategic decisions, thus improving the project or programme in the future. Evaliuations hould help to draw conslusions about five main aspects of intervention as: relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, impact and sustainability. The final result of evaluation expected to provide continuous improvement for the next stages or other projects.
